As part of our ongoing optimization efforts, we extended the operating hours from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, increased scent intensity from 80% to 95%, and deployed an additional machine at the entrance to enhance fragrance presence. The diffuser was also repositioned onto the ceiling panel to improve airflow and ensure more effective scent coverage throughout the front wing. These improvements were implemented free of charge to maximize overall scent performance.
CONCLUSION
We replaced the ceiling installation with a standalone machine at the entrance due to inefficiencies in the 20+ year-old HVAC system, which affected air quality. Following our audit and CEO’s direct involvement, the lobby’s scent performance has significantly improved. Guest feedback has been positive, though some staff noted the scent strength could be slightly intense.
After careful consideration, we determined that maintaining the current level achieves the best balance for both guests and staff.
