About Vibes Lab Parfums: Our Philosophy

Vibes Lab Parfums is a Bangkok niche perfume house and scent branding studio. It designs signature scents for hotels and brands and makes its own fragrances, all under one idea: uncommon smells that people find strangely addictive. The brand is also written as Vibes Lab or VibesLab, and the company behind it is Brandscaper Co., Ltd.

The idea behind the brand

The slogan reflects a stance: scent should have character and tell a story, rather than be a safe, generic pleasant smell anyone could reproduce. Vibes Lab is interested in the scents people remember and feel attached to, more than scents that simply smell nice. That is the same thinking behind niche perfume as a whole.

Two sides of the business, one belief

One side is scent branding: designing a signature scent and the system that diffuses it, for hotels and lifestyle brands, through our Scent Branding service. The other side is fragrance and home scent for individuals: eau de parfum, reed diffusers, interior sprays and candles. Both rest on one belief — that scent builds memory and identity, the idea at the heart of scent marketing.

Signature scents that carry the idea

Vibes Lab has 12 signature scents, each built around a story rather than a trend. A few examples:

• Pencil — the smell of a freshly sharpened pencil
• Burning Jazz Bar — smoke drifting through a jazz bar
• Gasoline — named after the smell of fuel at a petrol station
• MONEY and Skins

The rest of the line is Swim, Amalfi Soleil, New Car, Grand Hotel Ginza, Afternoon Tea, Oud Elevator and Aged Oakmoss. All are in the Eau de Parfum collection.

Hotels and brands that chose Vibes Lab

Vibes Lab has worked with hotel and lifestyle brands in Thailand and abroad, including Dusit Thani, Lebua, Centara Grand, Sindhorn Kempinski, Upperhouse Residence and Aman.² For Aman, the team avoided clichéd Thai notes such as jasmine and lemongrass, and chose a direction of incense and ritual, warm woods and resins to match the copper, stone and wood of the space. Why scent is a matter of identity

Vibes Lab believes scent should be designed alongside a brand's visual identity and overall experience, not added afterwards. Because scent connects directly to emotion and memory, it is one of the strongest tools for making a brand memorable.
